Schomberg Horticultural Society

Since its inception in 1935, the Schomberg Horticultural Society has been an integral part of King Township. It's mandate is to educate the public on everything horticultural, maintain community gardens and put on flowershows at monthly meetings. The Society has grown and changed over the years, it has created gardens that are much admired by the community, especially the lily bed at the Library, the Centennial Garden at the entrance to the village and the newly renovated gardens at the Kitchen Breedon Manor.

As a Society we play an active role in the community and all memberw work hard at making the Schomberg Horticultural Society a success, with new members joining at a healthy rate.

We meet every 4th. Tuesday of the month at 7:30 at the Community Hall at 325 Main Street in Schomberg unless otherwise notified.

Memberships are $ 20.00 for individuals, $ 25.00 for families.
