Meeting starts at 7:30 pm

OUR GUEST SPEAKER:

This month, Mike McCallion will be speaking about

"Bonsai for People who Know Plants: Myth vs Reality"

In this evening's presentation you will learn an overview of the creation,

development and the care for a wide range of bonsai types.

With a wide range of sample bonsai, Mike will take the mystery out of bonsai and perhaps even convince you to add a couple to your own love for these beautiful plants.

Mike McCallion is the current and founding President of the Bonsai Society at the RBG, and a past President of the Toronto Bonsai Society. A bonsai enthusiast for 19 years, he has studied with many international teachers and bonsai masters, and is one of only a few Canadians who has been invited to exhibit a piece at each US National Bonsai show for the past 6 years.
