Meetings

The Beach Garden Society will have regular meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of May and November this year, with any additonal meetings or special workshops to be announced.

Our meetings feature interesting speakers, high quality flower shows, yummy refreshments, door prizes, a chance to meet and chat with other local gardeners, a library with an excellent collection of books on all garden-related topics, plus the chance to get involved with society activities. Come out to our next meeting as our guest.

WORKSHOP: Getting The Jump On Your Garden

Dorothy Greki, Norsery Plant Sales Supervisor from Sheridan Nurseries will lead this seminar to give you an overview of what can be done in your garden. Whether you are looking at your front yard, back yard, or side yard, you will want to consider specimen shade trees, removing lawn to replace it with low maintenance plants, managing shade through pruning mature branches, blooming time, fragrance, attracting birds, butterflies and hummingbirds.

Bring your questions and a notebook!
