Ancaster Horticultural Society
The Ancaster Horticultural Society is a group of over 150 enthusiastic members whose mission is to beautify the Ancaster community while encouraging people to get involved and "come dig with us".
Our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, except for July, August and November. Our evenings begin at 7:15 p.m. with social time of 15 minutes when tea, coffee and a wonderful array of goodies are served. Our business meetings begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. followed by our speaker for the evening.
We are a friendly group and we welcome visitors and guests at any time. You will find our members are all very approachable, cover all age groups and are only too willing to exchange gardening information!
We are located at the Old Town Hall in Ancaster, next to the Ancaster Library - please enter the building through the side door of the parking lot.
Come out and join us!! We'd love to see you there!
Our Plant and Bake Sale is our major fundraising event of the year and supports the Municipal plantings and educational programs of the Horticultural Society within our community. It's held at the Food Basics Plaza in Ancaster on the Saturday of the Victoria Day weekend every year from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. come rain or shine!
Your support is greatly appreciated. We hope to see you at the Plant and Bake Sale in 2019!
