98 year-old, oldest registered Thornhill society, affiliated with its umbrella organization OHA, the Ontario Horticultural Association. TGH is located within the Town of Markham and City of Vaughan, immediately north of the City of Toronto boundary, aiming to beautify our communities through flower-and vegetable gardening, horticulture, landscape architecture, street-side gardens, planting and maintaining parks, holding public exhibitions, monthly membership meetings with invited guest-speakers, and holding OHA-judged Flower Shows, publishing TGHS Yearbook/Speaker/Flower-Show-Guide & Competition Programme, and publishing a monthly TGHS Hort-News letter, for its membership.
