Meetings are 2nd Tuesday of each month (Sept.-Dec., Feb. - June) at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 7:00 p.m.) at the Community Christian Reform Church of Meadowvale, 2630 Inlake Court: $20.00 for Family Membership - $15.00 for Single membership. Guest fee $5.00. We offer our members 9 meetings per year with informative speakers, 9 newsletters, Plant Sale in May, Field Trip in June, Garden Tour and Pot Luck Supper in July. Hands On Workshops are held throughout the year and also five Flower Shows with both design and cultural exhibits.

April 12/2011 Presenter - Denis Flanagan

Speaker Bio:
After graduating from Horticulture in Surrey, England, Denis was involved in many projects including work for the Royal Family and achieved a Gold Medal at The Chelsea Flower Show.
Following a successful transplant to Canada, Denis continued designing award wining gardens including many for Canada Blooms. He Has taught at several community colleges including Humber and Seneca. Denis is well known for his Gardening Shows on HGTV and continues to promote the joys and benefits of horticulture through the "Green for Life" program for Landscape Ontario.&n
