About Us
The Stratford and District Horticultural Society was founded in 1878. The floral emblem is the Iris. The society is still vibrant with over 200 members. We are responsible for planting annual beds, managing perennial beds and library plantings. We have an annual plant sale and numerous design courses throughout the year. We hold three flower shows per year. Our June Show also has a lunch room and door prizes. We have an active youth group. Our craft group makes cards with dried flowers. Our Annual Garden Tour held the first Sunday of July is a popular event with beautiful local gardens. If you love horticulture, come join us on the last Monday of the month.
