About Us

Stouffville Horticultural Society was established on April 11, 1924. We have been an active society ever since, with the exception of a couple of years during World War 2. In 1946 we adopted the chrysanthemum as our floral emblem. Our archival records are in the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum to ensure their preservation.

Our members volunteer at the CNE and Canada Blooms. Our society has entered CNE horticultural competitions a number of times.

On Thursday April 22, our society is holding a fundraiser at our new meeting place, 19 On The Park (behind the clock tower in downtown Stouffville). Tickets are $30 each and include speaker program, beverage, hors d'oeuvres, door prize draw. Tickets available at Candlelight and Memories, Stouffville Florist, and the 19 On The Park box office. Doors open at 7 p.m., first speaker at 7:30 p.m. All proceeds go to the Lebovic Centre for Arts and Entertainment: 19 On The Park.
