Meetings

Meetings in 2012 will be held on the second Monday of the month in the downstairs room of the Legion, except for October. The October meeting will be held on the third Monday in the upstairs East Room. No Meetings in July, August and December.

Meetings are held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Battlefield Branch 622, 12 King Street East.

The Meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. with a social and the Business Meeting starts at 7.30 p.m. followed by a Guest Speaker.

Monday, February 13, 2012 - Valentine's Day Pot Luck & Silent Auction
 
This enjoyable evening begins with dinner at 6:30 p.m.  Members are asked to bring a food serving for 8 people and bring your own plates, cups and cutlery and an item or two for the Auction.

A Silent and Live Auction and a Valentine's Day Bouquet Contest will be part of this fun social evening with gardening enthusiasts.

Guest Speaker: Stoney Creek Garden Club Member Shirley Temple, will discuss the symbolismm, myth and flowers of Valentine's Day.  You won't want to miss this fun-filled evening.

Valentine's Day Bouquet Contest will be a Members' Choice for the best arrangement. This arrangement can have no dried, real or silk flowers. Allowed is real greenery, edible products, lace, paper and ribbons only. Size is not an issue and remember no points are awarded towards any flower show prizes. This is just for fun!
