History and Mandate
Our society now has a Mascot. It is a Walking Sunflower! It was created by Bonnie Robinson and Lee Medenski. It will be used at many Public functions throughout the year to represent our interesting society. If you see this mascot....give it a wave!
Check on the left for more information *See Home Page for Society's logo*. Irene Smith created our logo. The 2 spruce trees represent Sprucedale and District. The twig represents all evergreens in our area. The flower symbolizes all flowers including flowers on vegetables, trees and shrubs. The society’s mandate includes: Promoting the planting of trees, shrubs and flowers on public and private properties and education of members through speakers, field trips and other events.
