Southport Horticultural Society
Our club provides a meeting place for people interested in gardening and in learning from others in related areas.
We meet monthly, April to November, to exchange ideas and to learn from guest speakers.
Additionally, we have taken on the responsibility of maintaining the community's public gardens, and we periodically initiate new public projects, such as working with students at our local schools.
We usually meet at 7:00 PM on the second Monday of each month, at the Southport Pentecostal Temple, between Port Elgin and Southampton.
We hold a fund-raising garden tour each year on the Saturday of the Canada Day weekend, in early July.
