Smithville Garden Club
The Smithville Garden Club supports a number of initiatives in our town.
- Youth Group formed in 1963 and meets once per year for workshops, tours or a hike
- Smithville Fall Fair
- Childrens' Floral Workshop
- Provides hanging baskets in the town core
- Tree plantings in Leisureplex since 1999
- Bursary given to a graduate of Smithville High School entering a horticulturally related field post secondary
- Rose show the 3rd saturday in June at Legion Villa Apartmens Mill St Smithville
- Plant Sale: 3rd saturday in May at the Smithville Train Station
