The purpose of a Horticultural Society is to increase interest in horticulture by encouraging private and public gardening, by holding meetings, exhibits, plant sales and field trips.

May 16 Horticultural Meeting, DeGroots
The May meeting of the Horticultural Society is coming up this Wednesday, May 16 at 7:30 pm in the Green Room at DeGroot's. Matt Korpan of Great Lakes Lavender will be the speaking about lavender. You are invited to visit his website: www.greatlakeslavender.com Door prizes will be appreciated.
On Wednesday, May 30 at 6:00 pm a Social will be held for members and guests at the College Ave Park (231 College Ave N). Bring your lawn chairs and a brown bag with your food. Juice will be provided. It will be a chance to come out and see the park and meet fellow gardeners.
