 RHS Paint-the-Picket Contribution 2011

Member Jacqueline Tanner proudly holds the fence picket that she decorated with the club’s floral emblem – the poppy. The poppies are botanically correct yet depicted creatively in several vibrant colours against a vivid blue sky.
This picket will be added to others painted by talented artists from OHA garden clubs across Ontario and will form a lively fence at a Sudbury hospital or hospice. In this way, District 13 of the Ontario Horticultural Association will leave a permanent thank you to Sudbury for hosting the 105th Annual General Meeting in July, 2011.
