Omemee and District Horticultural Society

Welcome to a brand new year of gardening.
Your executive has an exciting year planned. This years program includes a variety of speakers, as well as flower, vegetable & photography shows.
There are plant sales, a garden tour of members' gardens, a plant and seed exchange and some day trips to nurseries or commercial gardens.
Our speakers cover a range of topics and formats. We have professional speakers complete with slide shows, hands on demonstrations like container planting, and open forum question and answer sessions where you will hear a short presentation and then have a chance to share ideas, or ask the questions you need help with. Join us and share in the fun of gardening!
Our meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of every month (from February to November) in the lower hall of Trinity United Church. We have refreshments and social time from 7 - 7:30. The meeting begins at 7:30. Come and bring a friend. We welcome all interested gardeners.
This photo was taken of the new Cenotaph area in the Coronation Hall gardens. These gardens were our 2008 & 2009 Communities in Bloom project.
