Deed of Gift to Toronto Library
North York Horticultural Society donated the archival history of NHYS from 1924 to 2005 to the permanent collection of the Toronto Public Library, Yonge Street Branch. On March 15, 2006 Diane Wilton, President and Gloria Broks, Past-President along with Diana Frank, Services Specialist of the Canadiana Collection attended the signing of the Deed of Gift. This has allowed our society to have a safe and public area for all our records. It includes yearbooks, photos, newspaper clippings, minutes etc. Once all the documents are fully catalogued they will be available to researchers. (2010-01-16) |
