History: Plaque - Trans Canada Trail 2004

TRANS CANADA TRAIL

PLAQUE

 

The grand unveiling of our North York Horticultural Society’s plaque in honour of our 80th anniversary

 

took place on  Sat. June 5, 2004

 

It took take place at the Toronto Pavillion in Sir Cosimir Gzowski Park  on Windermere Avenue. It is

 

located just east of the QEW monument near the Humber Bay Bike Bridge.

 

Our contribution will help to build the Trans Canada Trail from sea to sea. Several of our members

 

attended the unveiling ceremony as part of the celebration along with other contributors to

 

this wonderful  trail .
