Home > About Us About UsThe Maxville & District Horticultural Society meets on the third Wednesday of March, April, May, June, September, October and November at the Maxville Complex Hall. A trip is planned for July and our Flower Show takes place in August. We buy gifts for, provide entertainment and serve refreshments at the October Birthday party for the residents of the Maxville Manor each year Have an annual bus trip Flower Show held in August includes Home judging and show hall judging of exhibits -- held at Maxville Sports Complex We judge outdoor light displays at Christmas We give a pointsettia plant to each church in our area at Christmas We plant and maintain planters at the four entrances to Maxville,and the gardens at the Post Office, North Piper and Arena This year we payed to have the shrubs at the Post Office garden professionally pruned |
