Annual General Meeting and Pot Luck Dinner
Note the early start time. Please bring a favorite food to share for the pot luck dinner. Refreshments will be provided by the GGC Social Committee. The Annual General Meeting will start at 7:00pm. We will induct our new president and board members. Our speaker will follow.
Speaker: Karin Vermeer
Karin Vermeer is the former owner of Vermeer's Garden Centre and Flower Shop in Welland and a budding horticultural therapist. Karin draws on her life-long experience in horticulture - as a horticultural student, as worker in the bulb industry in The Netherlands, and as owner/manager of Vermeer's Garden Centre and Flower Shop.
Topic: The Beauty and Benefits of Working with Green (with a focus on Christmas!)
Karin demonstrates simple ways to green up your home, inside and out, for the Holiday Season. While doing so she will explain her new career in Horticultural Therapy and Garden Coaching, and the many ways she brings b and b (beauty and benefits) to her clients.
