Master Gardener, Gaston Tessier invited us to get creative and pot up some planters. He suggested using interesting containers, not just pots, like found objects and recycled containers. And while we're being creative, he suggested that we look beyond the traditional annuals and use perennials, grasses, herbs, bulbs, and ornaments.
We also made plans for our upcoming plant sale and flowershow as well as the upcoming summer events such as our garden competition, garden tour and summer field trip.
We had five guests join us at this meeting. Everyone enjoyed the talk and hospitality that followed. (2008-04-24) |
