One of the primary aims of the Gananoque Horticultural Society is Community beautification. This is accomplished by encouraging local residents to develop their own gardens through our educational speakers and seminars.
Members and visitors have the opportunity to see what others have done on garden tours, as well as through flower exhibitions and competitions.

District Service Award to Rita Carpenter

At the January 11 Annual General Meeting a District Service Award was presented to Rita Carpenter a long time member of our society. The Presentation was done by In coming President Elaine Collins and the District 3 Director Bob Simmons.Rita has been an active member of the Gananoque Horticultural Society for 25 years. Rita has been on the board of directors and acts as our Treasurer and has done so for the past 22 years.
