Our Society is a member of the Ontario Horticultural Association comprised of over 250 societies across Ontario.
Membership is $10 per person yearly and entitles you to:

receive 6 bi-monthly newsletters containing useful information about gardening and upcoming events

attending monthly meetings to hear guest speakers and learn about gardening and more

can compete in flower and vegetable shows

The Amherstburg Fort Malden Society is very active in the Amherstburg community and the money we raise throughout the year is used to fund the following projects:

Partner in major tree planting

Development of community gardens

Assist with both the hanging baskets and planters in Amherstburg

Participate in the Parks Committee

Offer scholarships to qualifying students interested in horticultural studies

Organize the Trillium Awards, Youth Gardening, Rose Show and Deck the Planters

Publish a bi-monthly newsletter.
