The February meeting of the DDHS got members of the “couch” and into their comfortable clothing for a lesson about stretching before, during and after gardening. Melissa Jaszczyszak, of Body Balance Massage Therapy Clinic, led the group through a series of stretches that can be done to prepare for the gardening season (and avoid injury), and also stretches that can be done during the season to ease sore muscles.
