Vermiculture Workshop

The Dryden & District Horticultural Society started 2010 with an interesting presentation about vermiculture.  Al Neill, a local vermi-entrepreneur, introduced society members to the art and science of vermicomposting.  He explained how to brew compost tea, and how to include the nutrient rich tea in a plant fertilizing regime.  Members also enjoyed the opportunity to learn how to make compost tea bags.
