Why?

1. So as to enable the District Director, Sheila King, to hold a morning Advisory Committee Meeting with all the Presidents and Secretaries from all the societies.
2. To facilitate sharing and camaraderie among the gardeners of the area.
3. To hold the District Annual General Meeting in the afternoon as is required by the Constitution.
4. To offer information, education, networking opportunities, friendship and a good meal to all participating members while also conducting the business of the OHA.

What? Our theme is “A Country Picnic”

1. Registration Forms will go out next month.  Package pick-up on arrival.
2. Morning Welcome coffee, tea, juice & muffins etc.
3. Advisory Council in the meeting room during the morning.  Society Yearbooks to be shared with each other.
4. We will offer workshops in the main hall to those members who are not participating in the Advisory Meeting.
5. Vendor’s  Marketplace in  the main hall.
6. Door prizes and a silent auction.
7. Floral displays, Society Banners on display.
8. Catered lunch by A.J.’s.
9. Roll call of societies.  Presidents’ reports (Shining Moments) on Society’s  accomplishments.
10. District 2 AGM.
11. Keynote Speaker: Bruce Henbest on Heritage Vegetables
12. District Awards. 
13. District Photo Competition.
