District 2: Grenville, Lanark, Ottawa, Renfrew

District 2 is composed of the city of Ottawa as well as Renfrew, Lanark and Grenville counties. A warm welcome awaits you from over 2000 members in 21 societies that are active in communities across the region.

 OHA District 2 Photo Competition 2012:

The District 2 competition will take place at the 2012 District 2 Annual General Meeting.

The rules are basic:

• Color print from film or digital to be  4" x 6"
• Un matted
• Write your name and society on the back
• Only one entry per competitor per class                         

Display and prize giving will be at the District AGM.

Prizes for each class (if warranted ) 1st: $3.00, 2nd: $2.00, 3rd: $1.00.

1. Class 1  Distict #2's Floral Emblem - A Photo of a Bloodroot in Bloom
2. Class 2  Here We Go Again - Your Favourite Perennial Bed
3. Class 3  The Squirrel Missed This One - A Close Up of a Tulip Bloom
4. Class 4  Don't Curb Your Enthusiasm - A Picture of Your Front Garden
5. Class 5  Up Close and Perennial - Your Favorite Perennial Blossom, Spray or Cluster
6. Class 6  Who is Resting in My Garden - A Photo of an Animal. Insect or Bird in your Garden.
7. Class 7  Flowering Woodies - A Photo of a Flowering Shrub
8. Class 8  I Could Have Had a V-8 - Your Vegetable Garden
9. Class 9  Limited Space - A Pocket Garden
10. Class 10 This one is All Wet - A Photo of a Garden Water Feature

Judging Points Scale: Horticultural Value 40%, Photographic Value 40% and Appearance & Impact 20%.
