District2 2026 Flower Show

D2 will be having a fall plant sale fundraiser on Saturday, September 13 at the Pinewood Orchards Veggie Stand, 3820 Carling Avenue. Proceeds will go toward the 2026 Dis-trict 2 Flower Show which is being held next June 13, 2026, at the Richcraft Rec Centre in Kanata. Any donations of potted plants or cut flowers would be greatly appreciated. Plants and cut flowers can be dropped off at 6 Coady Way, Kanata or at the Veggie Stand, 3820 Carling Avenue, between 9 and 10 a.m. on the morning of the sale. If you are interested in giving an hour or two of your time at the sale on September 13th, that would be greatly appre-ciated. Calling all individuals interested in working on the 2026 D2 Flower.
The 2026 District 2 Flower Show is being held on June 13, 2026, at the Richcraft Rec Centre in Kanata. The space is being sponsored by City of Ottawa Councillor, Cathy Curry.
Planning will be held by Zoom meetings with the first meeting scheduled for September 25, 2025, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Planning discussion will include:
-Show Theme
-Show Schedule
-Graphic Design of Marketing Materials
-Youth Activity
-Promotion including Web (QR code), Street and Business Signage, Selfie Wall
-Sponsorship – NOTE: several nurseries/businesses in the Ottawa area have agreed to provide prizes. An application will be made to the City of Ottawa for a community grant.
