OHA District 2 Photo Competition 2011:
The District 2 competition will take place at the 2011 District 2 Annual General Meeting.
The rules are basic:
- Color print from film or digital to be 4" x 6"
- Un matted
- Write your name and society on the back
- Only one entry per competitor per class
Display and prize giving will be at the District AGM.
Prizes for each class (if warranted ) 1st: $3.00, 2nd: $2.00, 3rd: $1.00.
Classes 2011
- As the plot thickens - photo of a garden in full growth or bloom
- Drama on a small scale - photo of a vibrid container garden
- Mysterious dark side - photo of dark coloured bloom(s) or foliage
- Riddle of the rockery - photo of a rock garden
- Under House Arrest - photo of a house plant
- A Veiled Clue - photo of a flowering vine
- The Witness(es) - photo of wildlife in the garden
- The Good Guys - photo including a pollinator
- Green edivence - photo of foliage
- Inscrutable bulbs - photo of early spring bulbs
Judging Points Scale: Horticultural Value 40%, Photographic Value 40% and Appearance & Impact 20%.
