Meeting: 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Hold 8 meetings per year
Have a:
o Spring Plant Sale – about $2500.00
o Bus Trip to Stratford in May
o Garden Tour
o Pot luck dinner
o Flower Show in September
o Fall Plant Sale - $850.00
o Ridgetown Hort is at the Farmer Market that started last year (2009).
§ Made $1450.00 extra for the Society
o Sell calendars for the Rotary – extra money for the Society
o Christmas Banquet
o Members attend the OHA meeting
o Members attend the OHA Convention
o Planting flowers at the east end
o Mickle Park, main street containers –maintain them through summer
o Planted 500 tulips in Downtown Area
o Had a Christmas Door Contest last year and to continue in 2010-04-19
o Doing a Scarecrow Contest in the Fall
