2009 Report
Our annual perennial sale was a success again this year as we had a good crowd turn out for this event. This year we sold garden stepping stones that we made at a workshop, which included our youth. The gardens in town and our park were maintained, and decorated at Christmas for our Jingle Belle walk.
We held two open meeting flower shows and had a nice showing of flowers at both. Our speaker at both meetings was Dave Chamberlain who spoke on green roofs in the spring and in the fall, cleaning up our gardens for winter.
Once again we received a 1st prize ribbon for our display at The Brigden Fair. The theme this year was Clowning Around.
