The Collins Bay and District Horticultural Society has existed since 1954 as part of District 3 - Frontenac, Hastings, Leeds, Lennox & Addington, Prince Edward  of the Ontario Horticultural Association.   There are many dedicated people who have been members for a long time but we always welcome new members.

Our Society meets once a month where we bring in speakers to talk about all things horticulture and where we share in each other's gardening stories.   We also have two flower and plant shows each year plus we hold a plant sale for the public in May. 

Society members volunteer time maintaining two local gardens at:

            the Eastern Gate of the Loyalist Parkway by Fairfield Park in Amherstview,

            the Isabel Turner Library Park at Front Road and Bayridge Drive.
