THE COLLINGWOOD ARBORETUM
The Arboretum plays a large part in connecting our Society to the Community.
It is believed that the concept of the "Tree of Life" started in ancient times in Asia. Over time the Tree of Life Symbols were taken up by all beliefs and religions in the Western & Eastern worlds. It is in this tradition of our ancient forbearers that we have created an Arboretum and gather annually to honour these acient symbols of life.
The "Collingwood Arboretum" is a garden of delight for all to enjoy.
The Entrances are Located on First Street at Harbor View Park - behind MacDonalds Restaurant.
Look for the Arboretum park sign posted along First St.
It is a place where loved ones are remembered, weddings are held, births & anniversaries are celebrated, or a quiet moment of contemplation is observed. It is a vital Botanical Park, complete with Historical records ( Genealogy, Common & Botanical names) of coniferous & deciduous trees, shrubs and plants.
for information on making a donation, contribution or honoring a loved one with a planted tree
