December 2011 Newsletter -- President’s Message
Hello Everyone,
Congratulations to the new Executive of the Chinguacousy Garden Club for the year 2011-12. Thank you also to those of you who have served so selflessly in the past and are taking a leave of absence or even retiring from the Executive.
This Club or any other volunteer group could not exist without such dedicated people as yourselves. To that end we are very happy to recognize your efforts with an O.H.A. "Years of Service" award pin. Congratulations to all of you again.
At this time, I would like to encourage any one of you to join the Executive if only for a year and with another Member by your side. It makes the workload so much easier and even enjoyable for everyone.
Soon it will be time to decorate our homes for Christmas and to help get our creative minds in gear Aleta will once again be here to help us does that. Please bring $5.00 for the oasis attachment, bring your own wine bottle, empty or full, and bring small stemmed flowers and fillers that will fit into a small piece of oasis. You will be making a small bouquet right on the wine bottle so you don’t need a lot of flowers. Do not bring thick stemmed flowers, small and delicate is best. Asna
