About Us

We meet on the last Tuesday of each month at the Brentwood Hall, 9926 County Rd 10 at 7:30 pm.  We provide many knowledgeable speakers for our members and guests.

We have been meeting for over 30 years and have adult and youth members from the Brentwood and surrounding areas. 

We are an active group with community enhancement projects in our local area.  Most recently we have been working in conjunction with the New Lowell Library building project to help them with beautifying their new building.

We have a successful and very popular annual spring plant sale.  All members donate perennials, annuals, vegetable and herb plants, houseplants, shrubs and small trees that they have grown.  It is held the Saturday of Victoria Day weekend from 8:00 am to 12 noon at the Brentwood Hall on County Rd 10.  Last year it was held on a wet and cold morning, but despite the dreary weather we had a great selection of plants and we set up inside the hall for dryer shopping.  Join us again this year, on Saturday, May 19th - it is a great way to get free gardening advice and new plants at a reasonable price!

In June we have an amazing strawberry social  when neighbouring Societies are invited to join us for a speaker and some great desserts. This years 'Strawberry Social' is being held on June 19th 2012

During the summer we hold an impressive flower show that is open to the public to enjoy.  This year's show will be on  August 14th 7:00 pm at the Brentwood Community Center.
