Membership Renewal

September marks the end of the yearly renewable membership to the Belle River & District Horticultural Society. The  Membership Fee is $10.00. With this you get:

  • a Christmas dinner, part of which is subsidized by the Society
  • 10 meetings per year (which amounts to $1.00 per meeting)
  • hear 8 or more great garden enthusiasts speak on various aspects of horticulture
  • enjoy a June barbeque at no cost to you
  • free personalized Master Gardener advice at every meeting
  • free workshops on decorating and centerpiece making and floral arrangement
  • free Flower Shows
  • bus trips at the minimal cost to you - not for profit but solely for your enjoyment
  • seed exchange
  • plant sale (very reasonable prices)
  • door prizes given out throughout the year - every meeting  and event
  • the camaraderie of a group of people who share your hobby and enthusiasm
  • 3 newsletters per year
  • discounts at dozens of nurseries and florists

You cannot go wrong with this one. In the end, you come out winning regardless of the way you twirl it, spin it or twist it.
