A GARDEN FOR ALL SEASONS February 2010 Meeting Report
by Mary Sasiela, Grassroot Press Newsletter Editor

Did you miss the February 2010 General Meeting?

If you did, you missed a chance to start dreaming about spring.

Heinke Zemancik-Thiessen, our first speaker of the year, gave us some oooh-aaah moments, with beautiful pictures that gave us many ideas of what we could do with our own gardens. Her talk, titled ‘A Garden for All Seasons’, gave us a peek into her own garden over the seasons.

As well … in the ‘Show & Tell’, Chair, Brenda Heenan, demonstrated how to propagate geraniums (Pelargonium) and succulents. So easy! We just have to remember to over-winter some healthy mother plants.
