 Welcome to Ayr Roots

The goal of AYR ROOTS is to further educate young elementary students of Ayr in certain aspects of gardening and the environment. This year the four volunteers from the Ayr Horticultural Society are spending forty minutes every month with 16 grade four and fivers from St. Bridgets in Ayr.
This past November, each student made a seasonal centrepiece from local greenery and pine cones. You can see from the picture it was a great success. Future topics are "Building a Birdhouse", " Feeding the Winter Birds" and "Usings Seeds Creatively" and making a beautiful "Summer Planter."
