Creating Balance in the Gardner's Body

At our society's February meeting, Susan Takacs, a devoted Yoga practitioner and teacher, introduced us to the benefits of Yoga as a way to combat back fatique and pulled muscles which are so common among gardners.  Susan was first inspired to pursue Yoga while travelling in Nepal and has never looked back on her decision. 

After a short anatomy lesson on the spine and how to maintain proper posture, we were introduced to some beginner stretches for the hands, wrists, feet and ankles.  All of this could be done from the comfort of our chairs....Ahhhhhh.  For the
