The Aurora Garden & Horticultural Society, with a long history of community beautification and involvement, celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2008. More....
On October 26th join us for Christmas with the Three Wise Women. Three members of the Aurora Garden and Horticultural Society will teach Christmas designs. At the end of the demonstration, designs will be auctioned off. We will also have our final flower show of the year and a photography contest.
Our Annual Flower Show will be held Saturday, September 10thth from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Aurora Cultural Centre, 22 Church Street. This year's theme is "The Artistry of Flowers". Come see our exquisite floral designs, a special gentleman's bouquet for the Mayor, cut garden flowers from members' Aurora gardens, flowers grown by our youth members and a special exhibit this year of botanical jewelry. There will also be an exciting door prize.

The Aurora Farmers' Market and Artisan Fair features local vendors selling produce, meat products, plants, homemade baking and preserves, crafts and more! The Market is open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from May through to October, and is located at Town Park, on Wells Street between Mosley Street and Metcalfe Street.
Enjoy the Market's fresh foods, music and crafts. Plus, we offer free Special Activities on an ongoing basis. There is lots of fun for all!
