Plant A Row, Grow A Row by Arthur Horticultural Society
Marilyn Theurer spoke at the Fall show to the members of the Arthur Horticultural Society regarding a new Government sponsored program for the Food Bank. They are asking that besides canned goods, the public could donate any extra fruits and vegetables in their garden.
All produce should be clean and dry in a plastic bag. They are looking for a variety of garden produce, potatoes, onions, carrots, beans and apples for a few examples.
The Arthur Food Bank is open Tuesdays 10 am - 12 pm for the public to drop of their produce. If you can't make your own drop off call the Food Bank at 519-848-3 more...
