The Argyle Horticultural Society is the smallest Society within District 18 with about 35 members. Located in the Port Loring/Loring area, this small group manages to have an annual Flower Show, Garden Tour, Yard Sale and monthly meetings with guest speakers. They also distribute planters throughout the community and look after several public gardens. The Spring Convention for District 18 was hosted here and 2007 was their 25th Anniversary. The Society was granted the Tulip Fund Special Project grant to plant a hummingbird garden at the Argyle Public School which also houses the local library.
New members are always welcome. If you are just visiting the area please come out and join us, we are a friendly bunch :)
