Once a year, the Society sponsors a Flower and Vegetable Show at which time its members, as well as the public, are invited to enter their prize flowers and vegetables into the Show for judging. Floral arrangements are an integral part of the Show calling for ingenuous ideas in design, as well as purchases of artefacts and staging materials for the display.

The overall impact of such a Show is far-reaching. Members grow flowers and vegetables, not only for their own use and consumption, but also for display.

The general public, invited to attend the Show, reaps the benefits of new ideas as well as having the opportunity to speak with the growers and learn their "secrets".
