Ancaster Horticultural Society
The Ancaster Horticultural Society is a group of over 200 enthusiastic members whose mission is to beautify the Ancaster community while encouraging people to get involved and "come dig with us".
Our evenings begin at 7:30 p.m. with a social half-hour where tea, coffee and a wonderful array of goodies are served. Our business meetings begin promptly at 8 p.m., followed by our speaker for the evening.
We are a friendly club and we welcome visitors or guests at any time. You will find our members are all very approachable, cover all age groups and are only too willing to exchange gardening information!
Come out and join us!!
Our Plant and Bake Sale is our major fundraising event of the year and supports the Municipal plantings and educational programs of the Horticultural Society within our community. It will be held at the Food Basics Plaza in Ancaster on May 17th, 2014 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Your support is greatly appreciated. We hope to see you at the Plant and Bake Sale in 2014!
Our Flower, Vegetable and Photo Show and Afternoon Tea is an annual event and will be held this year on Saturday, August 16th, 2014. This is a truly beautiful occasion where our members show off their 'best of the best'. We would love to see you there.
PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR THIS YEAR ONLY, OUR LOCATION FOR THIS SHOW HAS CHANGED FROM THE OLD TOWN HALL TO ST. JOHN'S PARISH HALL, HALSON STREET, ANCASTER.
Exhibitors must be members and entries will be accepted from 8:45 to 10:30 a.m. Late entries will not be accepted.
