Ancaster Horticultural Society
The Ancaster Horticultural Society is a group of over 200 enthusiastic members whose mission is to beautify the Ancaster community while encouraging people to get involved and "come dig with us".
Our evenings begin at 7:30 p.m. with a social half-hour where tea, coffee and a wonderful array of goodies are served. Our business meetings begin promptly at 8 p.m., followed by our speaker for the evening.
We are a friendly club and we welcome visitors or guests at any time. You will find our members are all very approachable, cover all age groups and are only too willing to exchange gardening information!

Hello Ancaster Horticultural Society Members;
At our Plant & Bake Sale, on Sat. May 22, 2010, we are offering our members and the general public an opportunity to purchase a rain barrel at the reasonable price of $45.
We are encouraging interested members to pre-order their rain barrel(s) either directly through the Rain Barrels web site ( www.rainbarrel.ca) or by phoning Sue Freshwater at 905-648-6733. Rain barrels will be available for pick up at the sale.
The Plant and Bake Sale is our major fundraising event of the year and supports the Municipal plantings and educational programs of the Horticultural Society within our community.
We invite you to consider the purchase of a rain barrel and to notify other members, friends and neighbours that they can phone the above phone number if they do not have access to the Internet.
Your support is greatly appreciated. We hope to see you at the Plant and Bake Sale on May 22nd!
