In My Neighbourhood

One of the objectives of Horticultural Societies is to encourage the planting of trees, shrubs and flowers on public and private grounds.  Horticultural Society volunteers are busy each year with local community beautification projects across the province.  Below is a small sample of these projects. 

• Support Our Troops Rock Garden - by the Greater Windsor Horticultural Society
  
• The project to renovate the gardens at the Top Generation Club hall by the Gloucester Horticultural Society.
  
• Delhi Tobacco & Heritage Centre garden revamp by the Delhi & District Horticultural Society.
  
• Bayview Memorial Stream Restoration Project by the Oro/Medonte Horticultural Society.  
  
• Bolton Mill Park Tree Planting & Wetlands Enhancement Project - Bolton & District Horticultural Society

• Russell & District Horticultural Society's project to build a bridge in MacDougall Park.
